• Businesses, individuals to fulfil their potential and to achieve their goals.

• One to one and group sessions.
• Provide training, development, literacy, numeracy, work placements and apprenticeship provisions.
A variety of music courses/workshops are run throughout the year funded by the London Borough of Ealing for children and young people. They have an opportunity to create their own ideas and take charge which helps them to build on their confidence to expand their minds. They also have the opportunity to attend the centre for their own casual social events where they can have fun and interact with each other in a safe environment.
The children and young people are able to have an opportunity to attend our centre and to learn how to create music and composition using the latest music technology (Logic 8 Pro). They also learn how to use various sounds in order to enhance their ideas and present a professional music package. It does not matter if they do not have any experience – just an interest in wanting to learn about the making of music and having fun while learning.
Clients are taught how to write Rap and song lyrics giving them the knowledge and understanding of creating verses, choruses and a bridge in a song with educational lyrics to motivate and inspire their career. Vocal techniques are also a part of the programme teaching the children and young people breathing exercises and how to look after their voice. They also have an opportunity to record their ideas within a professional studio with qualified music tutors.
We are pleased to be able to work in partnership with other organisations with regards to other children and young people and to help in building a better relationship amongst the different communities’ borough wide and across London. With the support of the voluntary workers and parents who become involved from the local community we protect and ensure that the running of the event is always a success. Clients can take a Certificate and CD of their work home with them to show their skills and achievements to their family and friends. For the slightly more mature young individual, a biography is also included within the whole package of the course.
This Music Sound Technology Course offers training, where clients will gain an in-depth knowledge of a broad range of sound-related skills, including audio engineering, music production and post-production techniques. The main aim of MEL Productions is to engage and ensure that clients’ voices are heard and supported through media activities meeting the criteria of Government Community Funding and for both disadvantaged and disaffected young people as well as those facing barriers of participation. This will ensure that the clients’ will gain lifelong skills in a high-quality media production which will greatly benefit them.
We have taken on trained and qualified tutors who are able to provide different activities giving new skills and options to those who require individual services. It is important that most of the volunteers are seen as mentors as well as having First Aid training and Advice and Guidance NVQ levels 2, 3 and 4 on board, within a Health and Safety environment. From our well planned programme, tutors benefit from working with their clients, by learning from their experiences and exchanging ideas.
